Info about Recommending Resources
Since adding an email address to the main page, I've received a few emails from people who would like me to link to a specific resource. I wasn't really expecting this, but I'm glad that people see Candy Hospital as a potential means of spreading helpful information! On this page, I'd like to explain how my process works for adding links so people know what to expect when they email me:
- It won't cost anything to have your link placed on one of my resource pages. It doesn't currently cost me any money to maintain this site, so there's no reason for me to charge people for having their content listed on it.
- I will probably add your resource if it meets the following criteria:
- It would make sense to put the resource on either my Mental Health or Pregnancy Help resource pages
- It contains no harmful or false information as far as I can tell
- It doesn't contain exactly the same information as something I've already linked to
- It doesn't strike me as just an advertisement. If you're someone from a for-profit company looking to promote your content, I'll still consider your request, but please note that I collect useful links as a hobby, not to promote anyone's business interests. Candy Hospital is not an advertising service.
- Please also note that this is a personal website maintained by one person as a hobby. I am in university full time right now, so I don't always have time to work on the website. If it takes several weeks for me to get back to you, that's normal. Please don't send me multiple follow-up emails asking if I've seen your first email.
Thank you for reading! If you would like to recommend a resource for my resource list, you can email me at emodollie@vivaldi.net.
